... the future of a/r ...
so, eddie's comments at the london expo made me think a lot about the future of a/r, and there are a number of possibilities that might await us ...

this is what he said:

"they are competely in love with each other."

"you're gonna get what you want. you're gonna love it, and you're gonna hate it."

"it's going to be tragic."

he also said something that sounded like they were not going to stay together.

these are the possibilities:

#1) roslin dies.

it wouldn't matter how or why, if she was the dyig leader or not. if laura dies, bill would be devastated. i mean there are spoilers that he is going to have a breakdown because laura is gone. and this time she's 'only' with the cylons's and still alive. now imagine laura being gone for good. in my opinion bill would not survive that. so, our two favourite characters die, one from cancer (?) and the other one from a broken heart.

oddly enough i would be okay with both of them dying. i would be terribly sad and i'd probably cry for days, but them both dying while still in love with each other would have a romeo & juliet kind of character.

#2) adama dies.

adama might turn out to be the dying leader, the possibility was always there. he might sacrifice himself to get the fleet to safety or to destroy the cylons. idk. i think that roslin would cope better than adama would in case she died (see #1), but i think she would be kinda 'useless' without him as well.

so i think it will be the way that if one of them dies, the other one will as well. they are a package deal. all or nothing.

#3) roslin is not the dying leader and the cancer will not kill her. but they'll break up.

so maybe she will be safed by some kind of miracle. again. and she will live. and so will adama. they'll get it on, but then decide they cannot be together because they have to make sure that the fleets survival on earth (whatever shape earth will be in) must be secured. idk. something he said today made it sound like they are not going to be staying together. (though of course they are still in love with each other, which would explain the tragic part.)

#4) roslin is a cylon. (#5) or adama is)

funnily enough this is the best possibility so far. 'cause his word ("you're going to hate it") might mean that he thinks we'll hate the fact that she turns out to be a cylon. which might be the case. but which might not be given the fact that her chances of surviving season four would increase.

so roslin is a cylon. adama finds out, can't believe it, and breaks up with her. he'll forgive her in the end 'cause he loves her and she didn't know what she was and they'll be back together.

i'd be okay with that as well, but i don't think that either of them are a cylon. ('cause my guess right now is that it is dee. idk.)

well anyway, do my ramblings make sense? do you agree/disagree with something i said? lemme know.

i think just needed to get that off my chest.

i'm going to read some happy fics now. :)
