met the cutest guy at work yesterday. he wanted to open an account at our bank and i told him that we could schedule an appointment for the following day (today) 'cause it was already closing time. so he came back today for the appointment. and afterwards i followed him outside and asked him if he wanted to go out sometime.

i usually never do that. but gosh was he cute.

so he asked for my phone number (yay) and he said that he'd call the weekend after this 'cause that's when i'll be back at that bank again. (yay)

#001 *squeee* last night i ordered the first half of season four of bsg from amazon.com ... yay. i am so looking forward to that. i would have ordered the uk boxset which is already available, but i was afraid that a) there would be less extras than on the us one and b) that i wouldn't get any studying done if i already got the box set now. i don't know about a), but b) is probably true. XD

#002 i have an exam coming up on monday. so not good. monday + exam = one hell of a start into the week. and two more exams on the next two wednesdays. but that should be it if i am (we are) lucky. except for my final exam coming up in the last week of november. *headdesk*

#003 strange things (*points to headline*) are happening to my userpics. idk what happened but the "AR ultimate power couple by aka_katya" icon and the "AR fanmix#01by laharah" icon are not the ones they are supposed to be (and the one from the fanmix looks pretty scary. aaah.) anyone know what's up with that? help please. ;D

#004 some of you might not know this but during the time i go to (training) school (about about 3-4 weeks in a row, 3 times a year, though this is the last time) i go to some kind of boarding school. me and my roomate sabine work at the same bank, so we know each other, but this time we have a different room. with nice windows. really nice windows. except for the fact that there is a huge (and i mean HUGE) spider + net in front of one of them. the spider's legs are black and it's body is shaped like a marble and beige. it's really scary. but we named it 'Ulli' and it is allowed to stay there as long as it stay outside. *tries not to think about the spider outside the window*. so if you don't hear from me during the next couple of days the spider has eaten sabine and me. 't was nice knowing y'all. XD

BUT: it's finally weekend. i am healthy. it's nice weather outside. so i shouldn't really complain. and i won't anymore.

how have you been?

just got back from training school. finally home again after three weeks of being gone. yay. in six weeks i'll be going back ... but for the last time 'cause then i'll be having my final exams. not good. i'm really excited about them. in a bad way though. well anyways, i got an A (95%) in accountance and finance (yay) ... so things are looking good.

on the other hand though i just had a fight with my mom and she threatened to throw me out. wtf? i don't know what happened. she just got really mad suddenly. :( idk. i'll better go to her and talk to her.

 So, this weekend was definitely not my weekend.

#1) jammed my naked foot into my suitcase yesterday as i was carrying it down the stairs. it hurt like hell but i thought that was it, got into my car and drove to luxemburg. well, as i arrived at the hotel and took off my shoes i noticed that my toe still it hurt whenever i moved it. so i was barely able to put on my shoes this morning and have been limping ever since. GREAT.

#2) took my ps2 with me to luxemburg so i could hook it up to the TV and watch DVDs. i had to switch rooms and the TV in my new room is so frakkin old that it doesn't have the right plug. no BSG. no bladerunner. no nothing. GREAT.

and this is where i need your help:

#3) downloaded a 30 day trial version of adobe premiere pro 'cause i wanted to try and make a video. i installed it and got it running, but whenever i try to import a video file it doesn't do anything (or it says that the file is broken). i downloaded the three seasons of BSG (i have all seasons on DVD but i thought that downloading them was easier than ripping all of the DVDs) but i can't import any of the episodes into premiere pro. does anyone know how to solve that problem? *crosses fingers* maybe some of you amazing vid making people out there have/had the same problem? idk.

and now for something positive: only 5 more days until the london expo (and seeing eddie) and only 12 more days until the next BSG episode.
